Motorola C261
The Motorola C261 is a thin handset with the large color display. It includes a VGA camera, Multimedia Messaging Service, and Internet access. Other than that, it seems pretty average to me. I will be on the lookout for reviews of this phone as it is made available.
Other Features include:
- Large color TFT display
- VGA camera
- Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) for sending text messages with photos attached
- Instant Messaging (IM) via Wireless Village IM
- Internet access via WAP 2.0 and GPRS Class 8
- Speakerphone
- Up to 450 minutes of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time
- Polyphonic ringtones (up to 32 channels)
- Downloading capabilities for screensavers, wallpapers and ringtones; preloaded games
The Motorola C261 is expected to be available sometime in the fall of 2005 with no word on suggested retail price.
