Motorola E1070 Preview

Motorola E1070Mobile Gazette has a look at the Motorola E1070 which is not even out yet as far as I know.

Here is what they say about it:

The Motorola E1070 is a 3G clamshell phone, on the surface similar to the Motorola V1050, although with an internal antenna and a higher resolution camera at 1.3 megapixels.

We don’t know all of the features in detail, but the Motorola E1070 is a 3G phone with video calling, expandable memory, Bluetooth and an MP3 and multimedia player, web browser and email client.

The screen size isn’t clear. Although the V1050 and most other Motorola handsets have a 176×220 pixel resolution display, we feel that it’s more likely that the E1070 comes with the same 240×320 pixel panel as the Motorola E1070 “bar” format phone. Presumably the E1070’s memory is TransFlash too, in common with other Motorola devices.

I don’t know how much is based in fact, but the phone should be out in the next three to six months.
