Announcing the New Blackberry 8700c

Blackberry 8700cEvery day I see more and more people pulling a Blackberry out of their pockets and throwing them to their ear or scolling through messages. Mobile Burn has the details on a new Blackberry that will be on the Cingular Wireless network.

Cingular Wireless and Research In Motion (RIM) have announced the long rumored Blackberry 8700c messaging device complete with EDGE wireless data, a first for any of the RIM Blackberry handhelds.

The Blackberry 8700c will be the most powerful Blackberry device released so far. Included in the package is an Intel XScale PXA901 CPU, a 320×240 pixel resolution 65k color TFT LCD screen, and Bluetooth. The quad band GSM Blackberry 8700c also includes 64MB flash memory and 16MB SRAM.

The Blackberry 8700c will be exclusive to Cingular, and will be available from November 21st for $299.99USD with a two year service agreement.
