Cingular Introduces the Nokia 6061

Nokia 6061A low-end flip phone from Nokia, the Nokia 6061, comes with a solid set of features that could make it a popular device for its target market.

…the Nokia 6061 is a lightweight flip phone with a nice 65k color display, and dual-band functionality. The 6061 sports an email client, can send and receive MMS messages, and can use MP3 ringtones - though with only 3Mb of memory the usefulness of this is questionable. Java applications are supported, and the Nokia 6061 also includes speakerphone functionality. There is no camera included, but this does help reduce the weight of the handset to only 92g (3.25oz)…

Cingular has the Nokia 6061 available for $39.99 USD with a two year service agreement.

  3. The Nokia 6061 sucks. It has volume issues, and cannot support hacks because the USB cable on the bottom of the phone DOESN’T EVEN WORK!
