“Tivo” in Your Cellphone

LG Electronics Video Phone
thisearly.com has a snippit of news that I thought was interesting. It seems LG is working on phones for live TV and whatnot. Movies on your “cell phone” is where we are heading. One integrated device for just about every function in your life. This is a pretty good start.

LG Electronics shows off a phone that allows you to pause live TV to take that very important phone call.

LG Electronics unveils the world’s first digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) phone with a so-called ‘time machine’ function. While watching the broadcast, users can answer phone calls without worrying about missing important parts as the time-machine function in the phone saves them for replay. The phone will be introduced at the Korea Electronics Show 2005 which opens Tuesday at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.
