Samsung Sync SGH-A707 - red (AT&T)
A phone that is very affordable in price but offers great features is the Samsung Sync SGH-A707 which has an attractive design that includes a great internal display. It is quadband (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) giving you wider range of countries where you could use your phone. You may use different instant messenger applications such as yahoo messenger, AOL, MSN, etc.
It is built with a 2.0 megapixel camera that gives better quality pictures than phones with regular VGA camera. It is WAP 2.0 enabled and can configure mobile email. Its display has a resolution of 176×220 pixels with 18-bit (262,000 colors) color depth. It is very small measuring only 2×3.7×0.7inch and weighs only 4oz.
Samsung SGH-U600
One of the slider phones from Samsung is the SGH-U600. It has a cool design with its attractive large 2.22” display that features dazzling 262K color with crisp images on the QVGA TFT screen. It is integrated with a Smart UI that makes easier usability and especially on search and messaging applications and even lets the user adjust the brightness of the display.
The SGH-U600 has a 3.2 megapixel camera with allowing you to save special moments into still and moving images. It has a 4x digital zoom allowing you to have better focus when taking pictures. This 103.2×49.3×10.9 mm has other features such as FM radio capable, TVout connectivity, OMA DRM 2.0, and Document Viewer. It also allows you to make SMS and MMS messages in a single composer.
Samsung SGH-U300
The SGH-U300 is one of the clamshell designed phone from Samsung. It measures only 9.6 mm in depth that lets you capture stunning still images and videos with its 3.2 megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom with a built-in LED flash that lets you take pictures even at night. It has a slim and sleek body has a cutting-edge look that is easy to grip.
Don’t need to have a hard time looking at its large 2.22 display that features dazzling 262K color with crisp images on the QVGA TFT screen. Easy to use User Interface gives customers the best comfort with out having a stress full experience in learning how to navigate through this phone. This Yahoo! ready phone is designed with USB 2.0 and bluetooth connected plus TVout that lets you output the display on a television screen.
Samsung SGH-U100
One of the signatures of Samsung is having slim type phones. The Samsung SGH-U100 is one of these many ultra slim phones having only a slender 5.9mm thickness that makes it one of the world’s slimmest phones. Besides its cool slick design, it includes a number of powerful features such as its 3.2 megapixel camera that lets you take high quality still images and videos. It has a 4x digital zoom giving you more control on taking pictures.
Enjoy those still and moving images from its large 1.93 display that features 262k color on the QVGA TFT screen. For its connectivity features, it is designed with bluetooth and USB 2.0 connection letting you share files, pictures or videos easier. It is even designed with a TV out that would let you view captured multimedia files from any TV screen.
Samsung gave high importance on customers perspective by giving them more convenient UI (user interface) design. Some added functionalities from this design lets you compose an SMS and MMS message from a single composer, and easy-to-use search function.
Samsung SGH-C450
One of the new cool mobile phones from Samsung is the Samsung SGH-C450. It is perfect for those whose looking for simplicity for their mobile phones. Talking about old school, this phone has the basic features of the old mobile phones, not 3G capable, dual-band, using poly ring tones, etc.
The Samsung SGH-C450 is a small phone having a dimension of 103.5 x 44.5 x 14.9 mm weighing at 72g. Its talk time would last upto 200 minutes and stand by time of upto 3 hours. For added entertainment, it has a built-in VGA camera that lets you take picture, of course, not as clear as 2.0 megepixeled camera phones, but still lets you take precious moments in your every day life. It also has a built-in FM radio, can be switched to speaker phone, and is WAP 2.0 capable.
Samsung SCH-B600: 10MP Camera Phone
The world is taking notice of Samsung recently as it launches the world’s first 10 megapixel camera phone in Korea. It is not due to come over here any time soon, but it is one that people have kept their eye on since CeBIT in March, when it was unveiled.
The camera aspect does not only feature a 3x optical zoom, but also has a TV-input jack so it can be connected to a television for showing off videos and images. Other camera features include auto focus and flash, manual white balance, manual focus, and burst mode.
It allows you to watch streaming TV through its DMB antennae, shooting video at QVGA resolution and saving them on MMCmicro cards. And for those of you that just can’t live without music, it also has MP3 playback.
Samsung SCH-B510
If a phone came from the cartoon world to our world it might look like the Samsung SCH-B510, which is almost two dimentional at a thickness of only 8.4mm. It is DMB enabled, which means you can receive and watch digital television if you live in South Korea.
Of course it also comes with a two megapixel digital camera, MP3 player and 3D Messenger.
The most unfortunate thing is that it is only available in Korea.
Samsung SGH-P310
The SGH-P300 was a rather decent success for Samsung, and so it was expected they would follow up on it, and now they have with the recent announcement of the P310, also known as the “Card Phone II”.
The P310 has a newly designed exterior, and upgraded features, but still the same super thin look at just 8.5mm in thickness.
In that small form, Samsung was able to fit a 2 megapixel camera MP3 music player and MP4 video player. You can expect 80MB of included internal memory, as well as an expandable memory slot.
There’s a 1.9” 262K QVGA color screen that uses a new touch sensor soft key. An included case provides extended battery life to power the P310.
If you are expecting to see the SGH-P310 in North America any time soon, you may be disappointed. It looks like it will be launched in the European market later this month, and then the Southeast Asian market later in October.

Samsung SGH-X820 Review
The World’s Thinnest Cell Phone, that is what the Samsung SGH-X820 is marketing itself as currently on the marketplace, as it looks to show how thin a cell phone can really go. Mobile Burn takes a look at it.
The first thing that caught our attention is the claim of the thinnest phone in the world. Some say that Samsung has cheated, as the camera module at the back protrudes out slightly, bumping the thickness to 9.9mm (0.39″). When you take into account a two megapixel camera module measures at least 6mm in thickness, Samsung really has already done a remarkable job.
So how thin is the X820? What do these numbers mean? To make it easy for everyone to understand, I can say that the X820 is as thick as an iPod nano. A lot of us are still a haunted by build issues with slim devices; the X820 weights 66g (2.33oz), and apparently, there is not much metal reinforcement in there. It would be just too ambitious to test how much pressure the phone can handle, since it doesn’t come free, but I haven’t scratched or cracked anything carrying the X820 in my jeans pocket for a week.
In the end they conclude that the X820 is a highly recommendWed device including excellent portability, good multimedia functions for its size, good keypad, excellent build. Some of the things that Mobile Burn was not as impressed with is the lack of a vibration mode for a ringer, average battery life, lack of USB Mass Storage mode, and absence of ringtone profiles.
Samsung E900 Review
Pocket-lint has a reivew up on the Samsung E900, a small Samsung slider that looks a fair bit like the LG KG800.
Slide the bright crisp 2-inch 240×320 262K Colour TFT screen back and you are presented with a small, but easy to use keypad with no additional buttons - these are on top. Realising that any phone with either a camera or MP3 player must have direct access buttons, Samsung has tucked these out of the way on the side of the handset.
Featuring a 2 megapixel camera, the E900 is keen to promote itself as more than just a phone images can be stored on either the phone’s internal 80MB memory or directly on to an optional micro SD slot.
They give the phone an 8 out of 10 as the E900 is able to capture a positive feeling thanks to its bright screen, touch sensitive panel, and two megapixel digital camera.
