My younger sisters phone was doing the same exact thing, very annoying to listen and to have people listening to your conversations, and keeping it in your back pocket of course buttons are going to be pressed...so I looked up a way to get info on the Migo...if you've lost your hand book....

Go To:
http://support.vzw.com/phones/index.html?p=2060

But to turn off the Speaker....
Press # 1 and hold the button....to turn on/off speaker.

Hope this helps other views~

Help - I can't turn off my speakerphone.

We purchased a MIGO for our kids in March and we all LOVE it. Our kids are 9 and 6 and they carry it whenever they are away from us (field trips, birthday parties, sleep overs). It's very cool and we have no complaints.

Inadvertently, the speakerphone has been activated and, not being able to find the manual at this time, we don't know how to turn it back off. I tried the "downloads" section of the LG webpage, but when I entered MIGO as the model number it told me there were no results.

Someone please have pity on me and tell me how to take it off speakerphone.

THANKS!

Yes I currently work at a Sprint and Verizon Store. I just wanted to inform you that they are now updating the Migo with a program called Chaperone.

Verizon is getting ready to launch a new GPS child tracking service called Verizon Chaperone. The new service is anticipated to be available in May, powered by the LG Migo phone. It is anticipated the service will cost $15 per month.

Among the features of this location based service (LBS) are geofencing; the process of setting up a perimeter something is able to travel before an alert is setup. In this case you can setup a geofence around a few city blocks, a city, etc and then parents will automatically receive a text message if the child travels outside that geofence.

Other location based services are in the works for Verizon in the next few months in addition to the previously discussed Verizon VZ Navigator service which provides driving directions over cellphone.

This is current we just recieved it in the store the price is actually 19.99 and if you have a compatible phone you can check on your children from your cell phone.
