Sony Ericsson W800i Review
TechTree.com has a review up of the Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone.
The Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone is a tri-band GSM/GPRS handset. It’s a non-Smartphone just like W550i, which doesn’t run on Symbian or Windows or any other “OS”. However, it’s got almost everything that you can possibly imagine in a snazzy-looking phone. It carries the footprints of the K750i, but with a Walkman-ised look and feel. It’s got a powerful set of audio playback applications, a full fledged 2 megapixel digital camera, an FM radio tuner and a 512MB Memory Stick Duo bundled with it.
It has a vivid orange colored body with an ivory front panel. The keypad is well spaced out and the buttons are equally distant, deeply sunk into the body. The keys are of excellent quality and provide smooth and soft tactile feedback - comfortable especially while texting. And the joystick is made in the style of the “soft touch” technology, where the slightest deviation allows controlling movement along the screen - very handy while accessing music playback functions. The backlighting is also orange and well seen in various lighting conditions. The menu system is quite appealing as well. It uses the Walkman theme with groovy, high quality animations and yet fast and efficient in response.
In the end they give it a four and a half out of five on their rating scale with the only downside to the phone being that there is no standard USB connector, and that drivers required for USB detection in windows.

i just got this phone and i am very impressed, and even thought the disk to phone softwear is suposed to be rubish and slow, i have filled half the card, very fast, considering it is changing the bit rate and everything.
I also have found it reacts very fast, and i mean very fast, its light speed compared to my old phone.
i love the radio, its briliant!
And the walkman softwear real douse its job well, and even when i have a lot of files, it douse not hang at all, and the sounds better than some mp3 players!! and its louder then most of them to
i have no idea about the batter life yet, but it looks ok.
It paired up with my logitck pro bluetooth headset in a flash, i am very happy!
so in genral, its a very good phone, and i higly recomnd it.
