Sagem My X6-2
For new companies to enter the cell phone market is almost impossible, unless you are a big name company. Sagem is just one of the companies that has decided to take the big boys on, but will its latest model the Sagem My X6-2 be the one to break people of the Nokia / Sony Ericsson mould?
The first thing you’ll notice about the X6-2 is the large 2-inch 262k color display that overshadows the rest of the phone. It’s bright, clear and happily lets you see the what’s going on at a glance.
Below that is a keyboard, which is said to come across as rather flimsy. Sagem have thrown in a 1.3 megapixel camera for you to take pictures with, but the camera has a very average performance. Storage wise you are have to fend for yourself as a rather small 8Mb is included on board to share for pictures, messages, contacts and applications.
The trouble is. if you’re looking for a safe bet you aren’t going to opt for a phone that’s not a Nokia or an Ericsson and for that reason, that dominance of the big boys will just keep on carrying on.
